Your DevRel team can run flawlessly.

Developer Relations has quickly become a field in its own right. Traveling to conferences to seek input from developers and teach them about your product not only builds your brand, but also helps the community. Even the smallest startups need some form of developer relations, even if only live streaming on Twitch and doing co-marketing blog posts.

The problem is that, before you know it, you’ve got a DevRel team spread across the world in five time zones. Each of them is traveling several times a month, taking notes on conversations with developers, and setting up booths to answer questions and hand out swag.

That’s a lot of time, a lot of money, and a lot of data being generated. How do you make sure that you’re spending wisely and effectively using all the information your advocates have gathered to improve your product? Someone has to answer for those marketing dollars and demonstrate that all those trips and t-shirts are converting into customers.

That’s where I come in. I’ve got over a decade of administrative and operations experience that I’m now using to help developer relations teams run flawlessly.

My background is in the dental industry, where I’ve overseen several huge infrastructure migrations, trained and managed dozens of employees, and coordinated schedules for doctors, employees, and patients. I’ve also been responsible for managing patient data and creating reports to ensure my office has met internal and company-wide goals.

As a DevRel coordinator, I’ll step in to handle all of the behind-the-scenes work to make sure your team is building your brand efficiently. I’ll coordinate logistics for events, track your team’s spending, and plan travel. I’ll also help you build systems to make sure you’re not wasting money or valuable developer feedback.

Let your team do what it does best: being the face and voice of your company to build relationships with developers. In the meantime, I’ll do what I do best: making sure you’re building your company brand in the most effective and efficient way.

"Amy is seriously the best. She is organized, communicative, and efficient. I asked Amy to help me organize my MailChimp list and survey some of my customers. She had great suggestions on what to ask and was great at inputting and scrubbing the data quickly and accurately."

I had a messy (getting steadily messier!) system for organizing my CFPs, talk ideas, and accepted talk outlines and checklists, and no time to get the mess cleaned up. Amy did an amazing job of reorganizing it so that the whole system is extremely simple and straightforward for me to use now. I love it, and I've been more productive using it since having her help. So many thanks to Amy for setting me up for success!
